Children’s eye care in Luxembourg

The Centre Ophtalmologique du Glacis welcomes children for age-appropriate eye examinations at 7 avenue Victor Hugo in Luxembourg City. Children can have an eye examination before they can read.

Eye examinations and follow-up
The consultation assesses vision and can identify myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, strabismus or amblyopia. Eye drops may be proposed to help measure the prescription. Follow-up is tailored to each child.

When to book
Arrange an examination if you are concerned about your child’s vision, an eye turns, or your child has difficulty seeing the board or experiences eye strain. Bring glasses, previous prescriptions and any relevant reports.

Appointments and emergencies
Book a routine examination on Doctena or contact the centre on +352 27 21 23. Eye emergencies are welcome without an appointment during opening hours. Severe eye pain, an injury or sudden loss of vision requires urgent assessment.

Monday: 08:30–20:00 • Tuesday to Friday: 08:30–17:30
Saturday: 09:00–20:00 • One Sunday per month
